This rare and beautiful silver Berber necklace from the Draa Valley in Morocco is a bold piece of  jewelry.  It has five big handmade bicone beads. The central three have five conical dangles with a bulbous end. The connectors from the bicone beads to the conical pendants have hand engraved patterns. I believe that the necklace has been restrung recently on a braided woolen cord. The cord ends in quite old trade beads that are coral colored glass beads with a dark center. The necklace is from the second half of the twentieth century and is in good vintage condition. The bicone beads test as silver, but the pendants do not and are likely to have been made from mixed metals.
